Garden Decking Revival
45 m² of weathered decking restored in two days.
About this project
The decking had turned grey after several winters, with green algae making it slippery in the shade. The owners were considering replacing it.
After a deep clean, we replaced split boards and re-fixed loose ones. Sanding removed the grey surface and smoothed the raised grain.
We finished with UV-resistant decking oil to protect the timber through the seasons. The result looks close to new — for a fraction of replacement cost.
